  1. Wow! 4th time doing the burpee challenge and getting better every month. Last month: 12m53s. This month: 9m09s. Thanks and have a great weekend!

  2. Ok- First time doing the challenge this morning: 13:40, and I started doing step-backs within 20 burpees, and at around 80 burpees I started just raising my hands deliriously instead of jumping at the end of them– but I did 100! Hopefully next time I can jump through at least half of them, I’d be happy with that progress. πŸ™‚

    Yay first challenge done!

  3. Oh my sweet lord, I am slipping off the keyboard here. 7:07 I lost the jump between 50 and 60 though. Will work on form next month (I give myself 6/10 this time). AC/DC Let There Be Rock helped me power through lol

  4. I am so excited….12:40! Second time doing the challenge and I made my sister do it with me. Last month I was 19:01 and I worked all month to make sure I could do better. Over 6 minutes off my time….so ecstatic!

  5. May- 7:06
    June- 6:40
    July- 6:06

August- 5:51 under 6 minutes finally and a 15 second improvement! Needless to say I’m pretty stoked. Krysta, your post yesterday is so true about the mental challenge. I know I have changed my thinking from being terrified of the pain to really getting excited like it’s a competition in my mind. I get that nervous excited feeling in my stomach and a huge adrenaline rush now. I’m really happy but still going to continue to try and improve on my time.

  6. First time hitting the hundred. Have been doing burpees once a week for a month, usually 4 sets of 10 only mixed in with other things. Max in a row b4 today 20. Today did 100 in 7:35. Buggered! But looking forward to the next 100 πŸ™‚

  7. Just joined 12 minute athlete and burpee challenge was my first 12 minute workout!
    Super chuffed with 9.50.
The London sun was shining, so powered me through. Completely brutal but awesome sense of satisfaction. Look forward to next months challenge.
Thanks Krista- loving your work πŸ™‚

  8. i did 11.05, so way better than 12.21! I did burpees a couple of times this month (not 100!) and I started running (intervals of walk/jog) again. I think that helped! I also did the first 10, and then broke it into 15s, so again, way better!

  9. Today was my first burpee challenge. I managed to get to 75 in 11:30 before I burnt out. They were full burpees though, so I was pretty psyched! Looking forward to next month.

  11. 10:38 for me, about the same as last month, and pretty far off my lowest time from a few months ago. I’m okay with that – working on some other goals but I’m glad I took a break and did this again.

  12. Even after sleeping only three hours last night I decided to let no excuses come in to my way! 100 burpees in 8:30min – 7min faster then the last time! The super athlete stream incl. your amazing videos makes me much stronger and faster! Thanks

  13. 12:43. This is the second time I have taken the challenge. I managed to shave off over a minute from last month’s time of 14 minutes flat. Thanks Krista!

  15. I found your website after the deadline for the challenge last month, but I did it anyway. My time was 9:08. This month was down to 8:11! Almost a minute off! πŸ™‚

  16. Finished in about 14:45, 30 seconds off of my last time, which was 30 seconds off the time before that. This was my first time doing them indoors and with two inhalations of albuterol. I apparently have exercise induced asthma. I’m 53 and in pretty good shape, but I just don’t have the lungs for this! Looking forward to continuing to shave 30 seconds off each time. I don’t practice during the month, maybe I should start doing that too!

    • Getting 30 seconds faster each time is definitely something to be proud of, Suzanne. And yes, if you want even faster improvement you could try to do them a few times a month, or even just 50 burpees in a row more often.

  17. First time doing the challenge since I found your website a month ago. My time was 10:43 with half being full burpees. Better than I thought I was going to do considering I worked all night. Love the website and the app. Can’t wait to see how I progress.

  18. Did the challenge in 9’45

This is an improvment from 10’33 last month

I think it’s really great to be doing these – and still see some improvements!

  19. 20 minutes exactly. Not very impressive but a whole 1 minute off last month. Then again I haven’t been keeping up to date with my daily HIIT in the last two weeks πŸ™

  20. 11:24, which is 5:06 improvement from 16:30 of last month!! How do you do it in 6 minutes?!?! That’s amazing! I wouldn’t say my form is perfect, and I definitely don’t go all the way down in a push-up after the first 20 or so, but I didn’t last month either, and I got through it much quicker this time. Yay me! And Yay everyone else, too!!

    • Wow, that’s incredible Alicia!!! You should be so proud πŸ™‚ It’s all about slowly improving – you just smoked your last time, so you’ll definitely get closer and closer to 6 minutes πŸ™‚

  21. So in July I tried burpees for the first time. Since I’m new to it I didnt go for 100 right away. I started at 50 and worked my way up. I also found it diificult to do burpees everyday since I do strength training as well and I need some recovery time for my muscles. So I do burpess 2 or 3 times a week and finally on 8/5 I completed the 100 burpee challenge with a time of 13:35. Within the last week I have knocked that time down by over 1 minute. I will update on the progrees in next months post.
