These pumpkin bites are super easy to make and use ingredients you probably already have in your home.

They’re packed with protein high energy carbs, and healthy fats to keep you energized and feeling full. And as a bonus, they’ll even satisfy your sweet tooth!

Here’s your pumpkin flax protein bites recipe:

Ingredients

1 cup old fashioned or gluten-free oatmeal (uncooked)
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
3 Tbsp unsweetened almond butter
2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 Tbsp ground flax seeds
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1-2 Tbsp chocolate chips

Directions

Stir the oatmeal, protein powder, flax seeds, and pumpkin spice in a medium sized bowl. Slowly add in the almond butter, honey, and pumpkin puree until everything is well mixed together. Add in the chocolate chips, then chill the dough in the refrigerator or freezer for 10-15 minutes to make it easier to work with.

Use the palms of your hands to roll the dough into eight equally sized bites. Place back in the fridge to chill, then eat up!
