Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Protein Bites

Not all cookie dough is bad for you.

This healthy cookie dough is packed with protein, energizing carbs, and healthy fats to keep you full and satisfied without that super sick feeling you inevitably get from chowing down on regular cookie dough.

It’s easy to adjust for dietary restrictions as well. Vegan? Just use vegan protein powder. Trying to stay gluten-free? Just use gluten-free oats. Then CHOW DOWN!

Here’s your peanut butter cookie dough protein bite recipe:

Ingredients

3/8 cup natural peanut butter (I used crunchy)
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup vanilla protein powder (about 2 servings)
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

Directions

Stir together the oats and protein powder in a medium sized bowl. Add in the peanut butter, then slowly add in the almond milk until you get a doughy mixture.

If the mixture seems too dry, add in a little more almond milk, but be careful not to add too much or it won’t stick together enough to form into balls. Stir in chocolate chips until they’re evenly spread throughout the dough, then use your hands to roll out eight balls. Place them on wax paper, then add to the fridge.

Store in the fridge or freezer.
