Strawberry-Topped Protein Cheesecake with Graham Cracker Crust

There’s nothing quite like graham crackers to remind you of being a kid.

There’s just something about them—they’re slightly sweet, deliciously crunchy, and delicious in crust-from—that makes anything with graham crackers in it extra special tasting.

And though I no longer eat them dipped in sugary frosting like I did when I was eight, I still love them as a treat now and again.

Luckily, this graham cracker crust cheesecake can actually be considered healthy—yes, it has a tiny bit of sugar from the graham crackers and a little added natural sweetener, but other than that, it’s packed with healthy protein and won’t give you a giant sugar crash like eating regular cheesecake (or, mounds of frosting) will.

Top it with strawberries and it becomes a seriously amazing post-workout snack or treat for any time of the day!

Dark Chocolate Peppermint Protein Truffle Recipe

I’m a huge fan of all things minty + chocolatey.

It’s just one of those amazing combinations that makes me love it even more every time I taste the two flavors together. I love it in all forms as well—whether it’s ice cream, gelato, chocolate bars, brownies, you name it.

But alas, the usual chocolate and mint combination tends to be full of sugar and butter as well, making it a less than healthy choice most of the time (a little here and there is just fine, however. That’s what the 80/20 rule is for!).

So that’s why I was super excited when I came up with this chocolate peppermint protein truffle recipe. They’re covered in dark chocolate, which satisfies my chocolate craving, but also include healthy fats and even some protein to make them much more filling than the regular holiday truffle.

No Bake Gingerbread Protein Bites

Who doesn’t love all things gingerbread?

Well, I do. I love just about anything gingerbread and molasses-related. This used to actually be a big problem, because I’d buy a big bag of gingerbread cookies and eat EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Let me tell you, all that leads to is feeling very, very sick afterwards (and having to buy bigger pants).

But these gingerbread bites are not only much, much healthier for you than the normal holiday gingerbread treats, they taste awesome as well! I love them as a snack or dessert any time of the day. And as a bonus, I don’t even feel guilty when I eat more than one of them.

Plus, since they require zero baking and pretty simple ingredients, they’re super easy to whip up whenever you’re craving something sweet but still pretty healthy.

I don’t know about you guys, I’m pretty sure I could eat peanut butter every single day and never get tired of it.

It’s just one of those foods that every time I eat it I’m blown away at how good it is (sorry, Paleo people. Almond butter is good too! Though not as good as peanut butter.).

And that’s how these crispy peanut butter protein bars came into existence. I was really just looking for another excuse to eat peanut butter, but the bars turned out awesome—reminiscent of store bought protein bars, but without all the added crap.

Chocolately Coconut Almond Protein Bar Recipe

coconut almond protein-bars recipe

Have you guys ever tried Luna bars?

They’re protein bars that claim to be specifically designed for women, which is annoying and deceptive. On the other hand, they’re really pretty delicious and they have tons of really creative flavors.

One of those flavors involves a lot of chocolate and coconut, and those were the inspiration for these homemade chocolately coconut almond protein bars. They taste like dessert, but they actually contain tons of good-for-you ingredients like coconut, almonds and whey protein!

And if you don’t have the crisp rice cereal (or just don’t want to use it), you can just substitute it with a little extra oats.

peanut butter protein cheesecake recipe

Peanut butter is one of my very favorite things in life. It’s amazing. I don’t even understand how it can possibly be so amazing, but it is.

So the other day, when I had an intense craving for peanut butter, I decided rather than eating half the jar I’d put it in a protein cheesecake instead.

The result was magical.
