Morning Protein Oatmeal Recipe

 

I started eating this breakfast nearly every day over a year ago and have yet to get tired of it. It keeps me full, gets my energy up in the morning, and is a cinch to make!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup quick or regular oats
1/8 – 1/4 cup skim milk (or soymilk)
1 scoop protein powder
1 T flax seeds
1/2 cup blueberries or other fruit
Sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions:

Make the oatmeal according to package instructions. Stir in milk, protein powder, and flax seeds. Top with blueberries and cinnamon as desired.

Tip: Make a few servings extra of oatmeal so the next day you have a really easy breakfast.

Carbohydrates: 47 g
Protein: 33 g

    One scoop of protein powder is what size in a real quantity (teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, or grams, etc.)?

  2. i use 250 ml almond milk mix in multrigrain porridge oat so simple honey favour with 1tsp crunchy peanut butter, n flaxseed 1tsp n some chp banana, then extra smooth coffee milk sugar white, then i wait for an hour to do zumba at homre, is it ok? then finish workout n i drink protein shake mix in 250ml water n drink n eat apple or pear or blueberries blender with 0%greek yogurt in protein shake. wat you think?
