We get serious chills every time we read those emails. Which is why we were so stoked to hear from Nick and Breanna Caldwell.
Here’s what Nick had to say when he first contacted us:

Nick was happy to share more about their story:
Krista: How did you come across 12 Minute Athlete?
Nick: About 6 months ago, my wife and I were looking for a workout program that both of us could do together. I was already in the middle of a more aggressive bodyweight workout routine that was starting to transform my body, and Breanna wanted to join in. The problem was she didn’t want to get “ripped.”
So we went online shopping. Searching for a program that fit her needs and gave us an opportunity to spend more time together.
When we stumbled upon the 12-Minute Athlete, it was if all the stars had aligned. It’s the fitness equivalent of e=mc². Absolute perfection in 30 second intervals.
Krista: What made it so different from anything else you had tried before?
Nick: See, the the thing about your workout is that anyone can do it. Breanna hadn’t really ever worked out, but it didn’t matter. Some of the early workouts called for doing things like high knees, air squats, jumping jacks. Things she KNEW she could do.
And we absolutely loved the idea of keeping each set short. It’s incredible! You can give it your all every time, because it’s only 30 seconds, and you get to rest between exercises.
There’s no need to worry about burning out. By the time you start to feel tired, you’re nearly finished. Just keep pushing and you’ll feel great about yourself when it’s all finished. Short bursts of giving it your all, a little rest in between workouts, and back at it. It’s the perfect balance. You sweat like crazy, and you feel accomplished.
It’s more of a challenge than I’ve ever experienced just lifting weights.
Krista: What were your goals when you first started?
Nick: Breanna’s goal was to lose 15 pounds without dieting, but she ended up losing 22lbs in 60 days.
She feels better than ever. Her confidence has gone through the roof! She looks absolutely gorgeous. And now she flaunts it!
As for me, I just wanted to look bigger and stronger. So routines with burpees, push-ups, handstand push-ups… those are what I focused on.
Here’s the result. At first I wanted to gain weight and build more muscle. But I ended up losing 18 pounds, which, I guess, means that I was carrying around quite a bit of body fat!

Krista: What else has changed for you aside from your appearance?
Nick: In just a few months, we’ve become so much stronger as a couple. Both in our physical bodies, and our spiritual love. To say your program is life changing is an understatement. The 12-Minute Athlete is really the greatest thing that has ever happened for us.
