Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the U.S.!
I hope you have a relaxing, food-filled day with your loved ones ahead of you.
While we would never suggest you try and have 100% perfect nutrition on Thanksgiving Day (come on, live a little!), it is a good idea to get moving and break a sweat before you start devouring all of your favorite holiday foods. Even better, try and get your friends or family to work out with you!
This workout is one you can do no matter where you are, whether you’re stuck inside due to freezing or wet weather, in your parents’ basement, or in your best friend’s living room while you both take turns making sure nothing is burning in the oven. You don’t need any equipment to do it, meaning you also have no excuses to avoid it.
Get it over with early in the day so you can enjoy the festivities later on! Check out this workout on Instagram to see just how hard you should be working.
(And don’t worry, if you’re not in the U.S. or don’t care a bit about Thanksgiving, you can still do this workout too.)
Here’s your Pre-Feast Thanksgiving AMRAP Workout:
Here’s what you’re going to do:
Set a timer to count down from 12 minutes, then do as many rounds of the following exercises as possible:
10 Jump Lunge Burpees
20 Speed skater lunges
10 Reptile push ups
10 Squat Jumps In/Out
10 Pike push ups
10 V Up In/Outs
Hold nothing back!!!
After your workout, try and get your family to do some handstands with you. It’s ok if everyone is at a different level!

3 rounds + 2 lunge burpees. But I had to do the reptile push-ups on my knees. Just had a baby and have zero core strength right now! Great workout though!!
