A Super Simple Vegan Banana Power Cookie Recipe

Banana Vegan Power Cookies

Pea protein is one of the least well known protein powders, probably because, well it just sounds weird.

No one ever taught me when I was younger that peas had a lot of protein in them, but they do! And not only is pea protein vegan (and paleo, if that’s your thing), it’s absorbed really well by your body, making it a great alternative to whey.

And while I’ve admittedly never tried pea protein powder in a shake (yet), I love to bake with it, since it produces moist, delicious baked goods without any of the cake-y dryness that whey tends to make. And I promise it doesn’t taste anything like peas.

Try these banana vegan power cookies, they’re incredibly easy to make and are full of stellar ingredients:

Healthy Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

healthy chocolate chip cookies

The other day I decided I wanted a cookie that was still pretty healthy yet was a little more like a “real” chocolate chip cookie—a.k.a. one not only centered around protein.

Inspired by a healthy breakfast cookie recipe my sister sent me (I’d link to it but can’t figure out where it actually came from), I whipped together a batch of cookies using whole wheat flour and protein powder, but was a little disappointed in the first batch. They turned out ok, but a little too dry—so for the next batch I added some unsweetened coconut and more peanut butter, and that did the trick!

The Easiest 5 Ingredient Healthy Cookie Recipe Ever

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just feel too lazy to cook. Whether I’ve just made a lot of home cooked meals recently or just don’t feel like doing the dishes, this cooking laziness happens on a semi-regular basis.

And that wouldn’t necessarily be a problem—except that I’ve noticed that the lazier I get when it comes to cooking, the less healthy I eat.

So to try and combat that unhealthy eating pattern, I decided to put together some incredibly easy, totally excuse-free healthy cookies. These cookies are so easy to make, you can’t even pretend to be too lazy to make them. Plus, they have absolutely zero added sweeteners and can be made with ingredients almost everyone has just sitting around in their kitchen.

Since I made these for the first time, I’ve made multiple batches—I love them as pre-workout snack or to just throw a couple in my purse for healthy snacking while I’m away from home. Try them, you won’t be sorry!

Incredible Healthy Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies Recipe

Healthy chocolate chip cookies? Is it really possible?

If you’d asked me a few years ago, I’d have said no way. A good chocolate chip cookie has lots of butter, lots of sugar, and very few nutrients.

But since I’m always looking for healthy treats, I decided to give a healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe a try. And you know what? A few tries later, something incredible happened.

I took the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes and then took a bite of a healthy, delicious, gluten-free, vegan, chocolate chip cookie. And even better, it’s packed with protein!

These cookies are moist, subtly sweet, and uber satisfying. No, they don’t taste exactly like the traditional chocolate chip cookie you’ll buy at the store, but they are scrumptiously good.

Just give the recipe a try, you won’t be sorry!

No-Bake Chocolate Coconut Protein Cookies Recipe

I’ve always been a huge fan of no-bake cookies. Especially chocolate ones.

Chewy, buttery and delicious, they’re pretty much brownies in cookie form and and have long been one of my favorite desserts. But since I find it difficult to devour only one at a time, I tend to avoid them for the most part lest I start getting too hooked on all that butter and sugar.

So that’s why I got the idea to create a healthier, protein-filled version of no-bake cookies. Full of good fats, protein and oats, they’re a much healthier but just as satisfying version of the classic no-bake cookies. Plus, they’re a cinch to make!
